Our first 2017 Specials are good for the soul

2017’s already looking good with our new Vapiano Specials menu now in restaurants. The motto is soul food. We take a sneak peek at what’s in store over the next couple of months. 

New Year, new Specials! Yet again, Vapianisti around the world have been busy creating a range of mouth-watering new recipes for you to try. The motto for January and February is soul food. Sounds good? It tastes even better. Here are Vapiano’s latest Specials.


Soul food. Good mood.


When it comes to soul food, our Insalata Quinoa comes with romaine lettuce, strips of kohlrabi, feta, roasted pumpkin seeds and maple-mustard dressing, and is the perfect way to kick-start 2017. Or try our Insalata Ortolana with its fried sweet potato, lambs lettuce, spinach and beetroot, all topped with goats cheese and drizzled with a sea buckthorn dressing. So good.


Pasta is always food for the soul so this Specials menu features not one, but two pasta dishes. Pasta Calabrese comes with spicy pepperoni salami, white beans and sun-dried tomatoes, while Pasta Crema di Avocado is made using avocado cream, basil, rocket, bell peppers and a squeeze of fresh lime. 


Sail through winter with soul food


Rice lovers are in for a treat too. Sweet potato, Thai chillies and Grana Padano are the star ingredients in our Risotto Campo. And our Pizza Salmone Calzone is tipped to become a new favourite with its hearty combo of smoked salmon, cucumber, mozzarella and a ricotta-dill-mustard cream. We dare you to resist!


If you’re after a lighter option, there’s also a piping hot Paprika soup with ginger to warm you from the inside out. Just the job when temperatures plummet. 


And last, but definitely not least, dessert. With its sweet almond milk rice pudding topped with goji berries and pumpkin seed caramel sauce, the new Riso Latte di Mandorla epitomises soul food. Mmmmmh!
